Oct 29, 2026SunFlex New Energy has partnered with HelloBike to introduce what the companies describe as the world’s first premium shared bicycles featuring flexible perovskite solar technology. The bicycles have been deployed at the Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort in Suzhou, China, where road testing has officially begun.
The bicycles feature a lightweight, flexible perovskite solar film mounted on the main frame tube, alongside an intelligent onboard positioning system. The solar technology enables continued power generation in overcast and rainy conditions, while offering impact resistance and a stable power supply. By bringing advanced photovoltaic technology to shared mobility, SunFlex and HelloBike are exploring a new energy solution for the shared bicycle industry.
