SunFlex New Energy and NayutaSpace (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. have entered into a strategic partnership. Leveraging SunFlex's deep expertise in ultra-lightweight flexible perovskite photovoltaics, the two companies will jointly develop China's first 400 m² scroll-deployable flexible perovskite solar array.

SunFlex has spent more than a decade advancing ultra-lightweight flexible perovskite photovoltaics, and now holds full-chain proprietary core technologies backed by a 10,000 m² smart mass-production facility. Its products are exceptionally light, thin, and flexible, and feature purpose-built, space-grade encapsulation capable of withstanding the hundreds-of-degrees temperature swings of the space environment. These attributes make them a perfect match for the lightweighting demands of satellite scroll-deployable arrays — an ideal solution for the new generation of space photovoltaics in commercial spaceflight. The new array will give the "Alaya" computing satellite over 120 kW of power generation per unit, feeding 80 kW-class computing payloads and reaching world-leading performance.

NayutaSpace (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. is one of China's premier commercial spaceflight technology innovators. With deep roots in launch vehicle R&D, the company has pioneered the world-leading ADHL (Aerodynamic Horizontal Recovery) technology, independently developed the "Xuanniao-R" reusable liquid-fuel rocket, and is building out the "Alaya" computing satellite constellation. Its profound engineering heritage in commercial satellite development places it firmly in the industry's top tier.

This partnership connects cutting-edge photovoltaic materials with satellite applications, resolving the space-energy bottleneck for commercial computing satellites and accelerating the rollout of new quality productive forces in commercial spaceflight.
