On June 3, SunFlex New Energy announced a partnership with Zhejiang Hejin Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a fellow exhibitor at this year's SNEC exhibition, to establish a joint international laboratory dedicated to perovskite testing and certification. The lab will focus on consumer-grade photovoltaic testing and certification, as well as indoor low-light performance certification, with plans to develop a space photovoltaic testing and certification laboratory in the future.
Grounded in the current state and technical challenges of the perovskite industry, both parties will address the sector's core technological pain points.
Key efforts will center on building out a comprehensive system for the testing, calibration, and performance verification of flexible perovskite products, while continuing to advance industry standardization. This initiative aims to fill critical gaps in the industry's development and drive the domestic perovskite sector toward standardized, high-quality, and sustainable growth.

Zhejiang Hejin Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is one of the earliest third-party laboratories in China to comprehensively expand into perovskite testing within the photovoltaic field. The laboratory holds three authoritative accreditations — CMA, CNAS, and IECEE CB — and has obtained full-standard testing capabilities under IEC 61215 and IEC 61730, covering all mainstream crystalline silicon PV module testing items. It is also recognized by leading international organizations including TÜV SÜD, TÜV NORD, VDE Germany, CSA North America, Intertek, and RETC, achieving comprehensive domestic and international testing qualification coverage. This gives Hejin Energy exceptional credibility and professional influence in the perovskite testing domain.

Through this collaborative laboratory, the two companies will leverage joint standard-setting and technology empowerment to both strengthen SunFlex's product quality assurance framework and help establish a unified, authoritative, and trustworthy testing system for China's perovskite industry.
